From inspection to sign-off
Inspect
Our Body Corporate Manager will contact you to arrange a property inspection. During this process he will identify areas in need of repair, examine the property for high-traffic zones and increased exposure areas, and discuss recommended exterior membrane systems appropriate for your property.
Quote
Following your property inspection, we provide an individualised quote typically within two to three days. Your quote includes cost, expected time frame, products to be used (with material data sheets), applicable warranty, and use of our specialised access equipment where needed.
Paint
Before coating, we ensure the surface is free and clean of any dirt, mould, or bacterial ingress. This is done using a chlorine-based wash applied either by hand or high pressure blasting, depending on the needs of the property, followed by a thorough rinse.
When it comes to coating, our process differs based on the chosen exterior membrane system. As an example, for a client who chooses our 10-year warranty system and Dulux AcraTex Elastomeric 201, a primer is first applied to the exterior followed by two full coats of the membrane. Whatever your chosen products, we include material data sheets with your quote. These include information such as drying times, VOC level, and film build.
Sign-Off
We are committed to customer satisfaction and offer clients the opportunity to inspect completed works and request touch-ups at no charge. All clients receive a sign-off sheet and are encouraged to rate our services and provide feedback.
Why we do not provide quotes without a property inspection
We have a commitment to provide clients with a complete service, delivering a job that not only looks good, but will last as long as possible, reducing costs in the long term. In order to do this, it is important that the necessary repairs are performed, and an exterior membrane is used that is appropriate for the individual needs of the property.
Beware of quotes from painting service providers that are given without a property inspection. These are unlikely to have considered the individual needs of your property and any repairs will not be accounted for. This leaves you at risk of unexpected costs, or completion of a paint job without necessary repairs, reducing the longevity of the job and compromising the integrity of the building structure.
Colour consultation
We want you to get the most out of your new look and provide colour consultation to all our body corporate clients, free of charge. If you want to keep a similar colour scheme, but need to revitalise dulled paintwork, we use technology to colour match to your existing paintwork. Or, if you are after a whole new look, our colour consultants are up to date on local trends and can help you to choose a new palette that will flatter your property and suit your area.
Specialist access equipment
Repairs, surface preparation, and coating are made easier with the use of our very own specialist access equipment. Many other painting companies hire external equipment at an additional cost, which they pass on to you. At DHPainting, we have a range of specialist access equipment, including trestles, scaffolding, an all-terrain scissor lift, and our Zeus spider boom, allowing us to provide the vast majority of required access for our body corporate projects.
This is of particular value when it comes to painting three to four storey structures. Here, the Zeus spider boom is able to provide quick and easy access at a height that would otherwise require considerable scaffolding. By saving our clients money otherwise spent on access equipment, we are able to deliver our superior first-class workmanship, products, and warranties at highly competitive rates.

With the help of the Dulux Envirowash Systems, we clean our tools and brushes on site to reduce the negative impacts that traditional paint waste disposal has on the environment.
Our partnership with Paintback is also one that we are extremely proud of, doing our part to ensure any excess paint and packaging from the projects we complete are disposed of responsibly or reused.
