Free on-site assessment
A trained estimator visits your home, looks at every surface you want painted and talks through colours, finishes and timing. You receive an itemised written quote rather than a figure scribbled on a card.
- Step 2
Colour and finish selection
Our operations managers can bring swatches to the house, organise sample patches on your own walls and help you choose finishes that suit each room and each exposure.
- Step 3
Protection and preparation
Furniture, floors and gardens are covered. Walls are washed, mould is treated, holes and cracks are filled, timber is sanded and primed and old flaking paint is removed so the new coats have something sound to grip.
- Step 4
Painting
Two full coats of the specified product go on, by brush and roller inside and by brush, roller or spray outside. We work room by room or elevation by elevation so the house stays liveable.
- Step 5
Daily clean-up and final walk-through
The site is tidied every afternoon. At the end you walk the house with the team leader, any touch-ups are done then and there, and you complete the handwritten sign-off sheet.

Warranty in writing
You receive our 10-year workmanship warranty certificate. If our preparation or application fails, we come back and make it right.

How much does it cost to paint a house in Townsville?
It depends on the size of the home, the condition of the surfaces, the amount of repair work and whether you are painting inside, outside or both. We do not quote from photos or square metres alone. An estimator visits, checks every surface and gives you an itemised quote so you can see what each part of the job costs.
Do I need to move out while the inside is painted?
No. Almost all of our interior house painting in Townsville is done with the family at home. We work one or two rooms at a time, use low-odour products and clean up each day. Most homes can keep using the kitchen and at least one bathroom throughout.
How long does a full house repaint take?
A typical three or four bedroom home takes around a week for the exterior and a similar time for the interior, depending on how much preparation is needed. Weather can stretch an exterior job in the wet season, and we will tell you when the forecast is affecting the schedule.
Can you help me pick colours?
Yes. Colour guidance is part of every house painting job. Do you paint older high-set Queenslander homes?
We do, and they make up a good share of our work in the older suburbs. Original paint on homes built before the 1970s can contain lead, so we work to lead-safe practices in line with AS 4361.2 and use breathable coatings that suit old timber.
What does the 10-year warranty cover?
It covers our workmanship, meaning the preparation and application of the paint. If a surface we prepared and painted peels, flakes or fails because of how we did the job, we return and fix it at no cost. It does not cover storm damage, structural movement or normal fading.
